Which stage is the Toon Link stage? That needs to be banned.

That's the Great Sea. I also don't get why that isn't banned but something like Onett is. The effects on the Great Sea seem worse than Onetts.

Edit: I'm also surprised about the Lylat Cruise one, it tipping from side to side always bugs me^^;  It's alright, I mean, I'd play on any level, it just seems like weird selections lol.

Yeah, I mean, it has bombs that can kill you, a part where gravity is screwed up, and that part where you have to stop to jump on the rocks, then jump back on the boat after it's finished.

Meh, just seems like weird selecting.^^;

There's also that thing that pops up and darts you off the stage.

Oh, yeah, I completely forgot about that. That seems like it'd be a big factor. Can't it kill light characters when they have very little damage?

 Yes it can. The fact that this isn't banned but Bridge of Eldin is is crazy.

Yeah, I don't get that or Shadow Moses Island, why would that one be banned? I mean, it seems pretty easy to work around the height thing, and there's nothing killing you or anything.

 Snake's stage would give me trouble because I use MetaKnight. I don't have a good verticle kill move. I still wouldn't have a problem with it though.

I'm pretty sure the basic guidelines to banning stuff goes as follows:

If the screen moves - Mushroomy Kingdom, Rumble Falls, etc
I can understand the issue with this: it gets irritating even when you're winning, because half the kills end up as Self destructs.

If you can walk off the edge - Flatzone 2, Bridge of Eldin, etc
I personally don't like these stages, but I can't see any reason they should be banned

If the stage has walls that you can trap people for infinite combo attacks - New Pork city, Hyrule Temple, Shadow Moses - etc
I can almost agree with the reasoning for this, except this should be covered under the "don't get killed" guidelines. If you're that skilled, you shouldn't even be letting yourself get trapped against a wall.

If there are a significant events in which the stage changes objectives - Spear Pillar(mirror and upside down screens), Wario Ware(various minigames), Norfair(getting inside that little safehouse), etc.
These get distracting, but I really don't see them as game breaking. just ignore the minigames and do whatever. I personally really enjoy spear pillar.
