IM getting my system back next week, sony only had my system for one day before they sent me my system back or a refurbished system.

I've had more failures on my PS3's then my 360's... I play my 360's about 80% of the time and PS3's 20%, but I have shipped a PS3 for repair 3 times, and 2 times for 360...

@Imperial... If the failure rate was that low, that would mean no PS3 has ever been sent back. The number of zero digits behind the decimal is greater then the install base by miles.

So upon the glowing lists of abilities the SDF can put on it's resume, failure at basic math is another one, excellent.

 Only kidding Imperial, but seriously how did your PS3 fall down your stairs MULTIPLE times?

Anyway, my PS3 experience isn't that crash hot:

1 RROD on an otherwise perfect 360 VS MANY MANY MANY freezes on my PS3 including online CoD4 and GTA4 (my most played games)

 It's good to hear sony is getting better at their turnovers, I'm guessing MS's speed has something to do with it.

When i first sold my original 60 gig PS3 about 5 months later the dude i sold it too called me and said he has a yellow light instead of a blue, and demanded i gave his money back, despite the fact i gave him all the papers, receipts and everything.

I didn't give him anything.

Question, though. Does the PS3 have a feature that when the system is idle from gameplay, the screen dims so that it doesn't burn an image in the screen? Just curious, since the Wii has it. The feature is pretty nice...

Yeah it does, usually when i leave my PS3 on sometimes when cooking dinner or whatever.

Yea the turnover rate is very gd by sony, the only thing that takes a long time is the 3 day shipping the box to u and a 3 day shipping the ps3 back to you from sony. When u ship your ps3 to sony its a 1day shipment.

14 months and counting with no YLoD
