Probably severance: Blade of Darkness. It's from early 2000 and at the time got decent scores (average 75.)

It's an oldie now but I still play it, and havent seen a slasher-adventure like it since. It just never get's old to lob the head off an enemy, then beat the next one to death with the other guys head. Or slashing off a limb to see if you can make it fly against a wall and leave a spec of blood...
