Forums - Gaming - Got my X360

All in all, impressive machine.

Cables included are very inclusive. HD cable, long Ethernet Cable.

I got a bundle with GRAW, and live arcade unplugged, not a shooter fan, so GRAW holds nothing for me, but it does look pretty.

Downloaded the Crackdown Demo, and it is the BOMB, will be getting this ASAP.

Rented GoW, and again, as a non shooter fan, im not impressed, visually, it is "ok" not as next gen as i would have hoped, but nice, none the less.

Rented Enchanted Arms, good solid JRPG, will be spending some time on this one.

And of course Live, will be looking forward to dominating the leaderboard on NHL 08 or 2K8 whichever turns out better.

Oh, and bought Guitar Hero, and have seemingly crippled my left hand for life now, that game is ridiculous, addicting, and all around awesome, like you didnt know that already.

I got myself Enchanted Arms for until Blue Dragon comes out, it's okay but meh I wasn't that impressed with it. I imagine half the point of the system is the friend list and online gaming both of which I don't really plan to keep up on lol.

Cool! I am happy for you, Can't wait to get mine counting down the days!!!

If you like sandbox games (which it appears you do), definitely pick up Crackdown. GoW is most impressive for Co-op. Having a friend lay cover fire while you sneak up on the enemy from the side and then chainsaw them is priceless.

If you like JRPGs, you'll be in for a treat this fall with Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, and Lost Odyssey.

Guitar Hero III will be coming out soon, too, so prepare for that. If you get Crackdown before June 10th, make sure you get a specially marked box with the Halo 3 beta so you can check that out on Live, too.

I'm guessing you got a premium system? I would've suggested the Elite, but either way, enjoy your purchase.

I like a lot of genres, and shooters are fun for me...but I get why you don't like them. Guitar Hero ROCKS though!!

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

also Viva Pinata.

Yeah, had an elite been in stock, i woulda got it, BUT adding a HDMI port, and extra HDD space isnt all that important in the GRAND scheme of things.
