360's game library currently has more depth 

To me its simply because some 360 reviewers are less biased than some PS3 reviewers, thats why its funny everytime people think Metacritic is biased to 360 and PS3 owners hate it when 360 owners use Metacritic as a debating point. I also have evidence from magazines as I buy 2-3 them every month, and the 360 mags are way less biased.

Of course I might have to back out of this thread now because I might get shot at.

Well maybe not, 'cuz it got locked in under a second because it was crazy trollfeed just like this crap.

I think it's more like "360 games have higher standards" than "360 owners expect too much". There isn't a single game on the PS3 rated higher than 89 that isn't also on the 360, while the four highest rated 360 console exclusives are rated 96, 94, 94, 91.

 On the contrary, think what you will of rock_on's typical topics but there is nothing stupid about discussing the expectations of reviewers and gamers. A greater understanding of expectations in gaming would basically end all the ridiculous arguments over review scores for example.

 You're right that there is nothing wrong with discussing reviewer and gamer expectations. That being said, that's not what this thread is about. rock_on loves to try and get people riled up, while trying to pose as a guy just wanting to spur intelligent discussion. I can't think of any thread by him that doesn't involve exalting a particular platform(often at the expense of another), downing a particular platform, or drawing (often silly)comparisons between two or three platforms. I'm not saying he hasn't made threads that aren't flamebait, but every time I log on there are one, two, or three of his topics like this on the front page. You'd think he'd run out of ways to ask basically the same few questions every day.

rock_on, why don't you try and enjoy the community here, rather than trying to rile people up? 

Well, they are expecting their games to be better than the PS3 versions...

We don't expect.. we demand!!

hehe, seriously though, I think most gamers expect the lead platform to be better then the port.. it just makes more sense.
