I don't think you lose 100% of your bet even with a 0% accuracy. If you look at the worst performers, they don't have a -100% winnings ratio. So if you lost $533 on the PES bet, you could have made it up with those two bets.

 

It depend on others predictions.... and the average bet on PES was 0% accurate.... I haven't checked through them all, but any bets that are further from the truth than Kirby's was are behind him... this of course includes a number of people who don't bet on everything so they put 0. Although both betting 0 and the 40k+ that Kirby did both equates to being 0% accurate, the 0 bet is considered worse I believe

However Kirby... you could easily have made up 1000 with the combined efforts of your very good GTA:CW prediction, and the 2 consoles you bet 1k on.

I suspect you probably lost about 900 on PES, while made up 400+ from GTA, and a couple hundred each from the hardware.

Damn, kirby passed me in winnings. At least I have the chance to retake it next week, this is the last week I don't appear in the rankings

The table in the OP is purely based on cumulative for 09. Yes, people who have only been in 2 rounds have an advantage, which is why I will be bumping the minimum up to 3 rounds next week. If people don't continue to enter rounds they will be dropped off the standings. Also, as more people enter, you will be bumped farther down the Winnings column, so you only retain an advantage on Accuracy and Winnings Ratio.

I haven't figured out a better way to do overall rankings, but if you come up with something, let me know.

EDIT: I should also add, that anyone under 30 points is doing extremely well considering we have ~90 people who have entered 2 rounds this year.
