Anyone remember this 2600 classic? I don't know if this game will be any good, but it sure brings back memories!

Activision Swings into Action with ``Pitfall: The Big Adventure'' For Wii(TM)

(Nasdaq: ATVI) announced today "Pitfall: The Big Adventure" for Wii(TM) is in development at Edge of Reality and will swing onto shelves this Fall. With more than 10 million Pitfall titles sold to date, Pitfall: The Big Adventure will introduce the franchise to a new generation of gamers while bringing a fresh Pitfall experience to long time fans.

Set in the Peruvian jungle, Pitfall: The Big Adventure combines the action of reptile dodging and vine swinging with clever puzzles. The game will feature over 60 levels spanning lush rainforests, creature-filled caves, and glacial mountains. Within these dynamic worlds, players will explore cavernous jungles, discover lost treasures, battle shamen, narrowly escape treacherous traps and outwit creatures using innovative, accessible game mechanics developed specifically to take advantage of the Wii motion sensing controls.

This looks just like the one for the Gamecube, it was alright but a rental at most.
I enjoy the classic Pitfall more then these remakes.

Man I loved Pitfall. I hope it's good.

I'm unenthused. The previous Pitfall revival has inured me to optimism.

Wow, I think the one on Super Nintendo looked better. But it was too short and too easy. 60+ levels is right up my alley. Maybe a rental.

Yea the SNES one does look better. I don't know though it could be good.

I might rent this game just to send that dorky character flying into gouts of flame.

Wow. I havn't played a pitfall game in ages. Didn't know they'd tried to revive this before. But I think Wii might be a good system to try another revival on. I'll keep an eye on it.

Glad to see so many old classics revived: Come on Joust & Lode Runner....

Lode Runner would be awesome. I would just love to see a Lode Runner a la LittleBigPlanet.
