The bundles are a steal, specially in America. It's a known fact the 80GB is preferred by the American audience, exchanging a Sixaxis controller and Motorstorm for Dualshock 3 and Metal Gear Solid 4 keeping the same price, it's just insane. I don't have the data with me, but I think it's not difficult to assume this is the first time such a HIGH profile game is being bundled with a console for mass production (since Super Mario World for SNES in USA, I'd say) and it's definitely a first for a third party game.

GT3:A-Spec was a bundle with the PS2.

I can't recall any third party games like this, though. Maybe I'm just being obtuse. My memory is shit sometimes.

Duck Hunt was definitely first party. It was more of a throw-in with the Zapper peripheral anyway.

^GT3 bundled? eh? maybe limited quantities...

I remember the GT3 bundle now, yeah true. But that was not really massive.

If it was limited, the numbers allocated were very high. The bundles were everywhere for quite some time here in the US.

Take your predictions and add +1...cause I'm buying one :)

hahahahha lol

Well, here's mine:

Software:
Japan: 350,000
America: 450,000
Others: 550,000
TOTAL: 1,350,000

Hardware:
Japan: 65,000
America: 100,000
Others: 145,000
TOTAL: 310,000

However, these are wild guesses at best. Seems to be a pretty hard one to judge; to me, at least.
