Forums - Gaming - Sega and Platinum Games Teaming Up to Make 3 Games?

So what is MadWorld actually about? Fighting game? Or in the same genre as the first game mentioned?

Bah, I hate ultra violent games :(

Come on dude. The Wii is finally getting more diverse games so don't give developers more reason to not make mature-oriented games for the Wii.

First game sounds like it will be PS3/360 and maybe PC or Wii.

It's sad that "ultra ultra violent" = "mature-oriented."

The DS game sounds interesting.

And I absolutely agree with Soriku's opinion on the Wii game. Statements like "ultra ultra violent" instantly puts my level of interest for an upcoming game to zero. I hope the game doesn't turn out as nearly as violent as described in the OP quote.

Wow ... the Wii game sounds interesting :P

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

Hmm... Platinum teaming up with the likes of Sega sounds odd, but the descriptions sound like the kinds of games you'd expect from them. Then again, they sound so typical for Clover, that it might be a fake designed to sound like something these guys would do. =P

Making one game each for the Wii, DS and 360/PS3 would certainly make sense, but I don't know if they have the resources for three projects at a time.

Btw the link to the original on Kotaku no longer leads anywhere. Might be that it was proven to be fake and removed. =/

I think soriku is just discussing his own preferences, but that wasn't quite clear.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

I know seriously Wii gamers don't want violent games. We just want a party compilation. Gosh this is just a bad move. Should be called Mad Party haha. /sarcasm

Lol, I'd rather have an AAA game from them without blood and gore squirting from every side of the screen...

Whatever. We'll see how it is.

So you didn't enjoy RE4?

I don't own RE4 nor plan to buy it. I don't like RE.

Ouch man...you turned your back on my second favourite game ever. How do you feel about Alucard and Castlevania SoTN?

Guys, quit bugging Soriku about games he's not old enough to play yet. =P

Not to say age restrictions tell anything of a game's content. Here's a certain 3+ rated game I've been playing today. Really kiddy stuff...

Yes, do want!

Hope this is true. Violence is the less important thing to me, what I want is quality, and the people at Platinum Games have a good record at that.

BTW, the bayonetta one, what system the game is it on? is it also for the Wii or its for HD consoles? Is Mad world a exclusive title or it'll be ported in other consoles too?
