I don't know--game mags sometimes get pretty decent exclusives. Also, for $20 you get interesting bathroom reading for a year. Not to mention it's nice to be able to just read in bed or on the couch without having to set up my laptop and try to get a wireless signal.

EGM had a 3 issue special article about the story of fighting games. It was very nice. Then they show the best 30 heroines in videogames and...well my 13 year old neighborg had more brains than that issue x_X

and I don't like to read in the toilette =P

I still get my monthly Nintendo Power...

...and every issue I wonder why I still get my monthly Nintendo Power.

It's lost its luster, it's more for nostalgia than for anything else. "Next Issue we'll have a Nintendo Power exclusive!" (laff laff laff)

This is how the media in general are....they will do anything to appease to the LCD (Lowest Common Denominator). If it means they should become anti-Ninty, blast games because they are not great graphic-wise, they are not violent enough, don't have enough blood etc. etc. as their fan base want them to be, then they will blast them for it.

Add in the fact that not many of the journalists there have gotten over puberty (despite being 30) and you got yourself an unreliable resource for game reviewers. Just choose a website that gives reliable gaming information like releases and such, and leave the reviews for trustworthy friends on the internet. Gone are the innocent days of gaming....it's now a jungle out their for attention whores who need people to look at their web pages at whatever cost.

Yeah. they now attack the wii, 5 years ago was the xbox, 10 years ago was the Saturn..and so on.

Well I just did found it, and it is here! :D

Well.. the only one that i can say i "read" is Club Nintendo but, i don't like it at all. I buy it because i'm just too lazy to be searching for news (that has changed since i found VG Chartz, tought) and also i like some info they give, but it's that great.

Yeah. I purchased a year's subscription to Nintendo Power to get the Zelda Collection disc for the GameCube, and then cancelled it as soon as the game arrived in the mail.

Ths goes for 99% of the gaming "journalists," actually.

I've stopped reading gaming mags after the n64 and ps1 era, kind of put me off that a magazine gave 100% to mario 64 and then 110% to perfect dark, what the hell does 10% above perfection mean.

I stick with the internet for my news, it's usually more up to date anyway.

The next step is to stop reading magazines altogether. And newspapers. Then maybe we can get back to putting trees to practical use.

I recently buy Club Nintendo Edition Smash Bros, and is a good magazine, only have a problem, not include all the characters in their analyst.
