I haven't done it with the Wii yet, but there's a photo in my album involving me and a couple Game Boys.

pfft. thats only for you 360 and ps3 fanboys. you should take notes on how completely unbiased i am and how impossible it is to tell which console i am rooting for. ;)

the nintendo wii will outsell the ps3 and the 360 combined by the end of 2008.

PS3 will out sell the 360 june 2010.

The seven virtues of a true gamer.

Generousity: A willingness to help and to share information on the qualities of games without a self serving agenda.

Self awareness: The knowledge that ones own taste may not be shared by another.

Self control: The ability to be a good sport in multiplayer games and not ruin the fun of others. Being able to keep the controller out of the wall is also helpful.

Pride: To be happy for every great game released and to be supportive when the best efforts of a developer do not come to fruitition. A prideful gamer does not tolerate lazy efforts.

Confidence: To not fear the exploits of other games on other consoles, that it may weaken your own console of choice.

Fairhandedness: To understand the the value of the work developers put into games and to not shortchange them by stealing their work.

Understanding: Games are an artform that are meant to entertain first and foremost. Do not put anything before fun in games, because to do so will lead you to fanboyism.

Did you write these or find them (the examples, not the sin titles)?

They are all my own originals! I just saw too much fanboyism for one day.

Ok and for those who are truly hardcore. The original 7 virtues of gamers.

Chastity: A true gamer is wholesome in both mind and body, so he does not choose to seek the companionship of the opposite sex.

Temperance: A hardcore gamer does not press any button before its' time nor later than its due. He has the clarity of mind to perform at a level of perfection.

Charity: A hardcore gamer shall seek to share his knowledge to those who are less worthy in the hope that some of them may be saved.

Dilligence: The temptations are many, hardcore however is the only path to enlightenment.

Kindness: Understand that there are those around you who are less able to walk the path than you. Be kind and take pity on them, they suffer for their ignorance of the true path.

Patience: Though the challenges may be many and the levels may be broken, a true gamer will exhaust all options before retiring.

Humility: A hardcore gamer seeks only the rewards of the game. He forsakes all praise but that of the games he plays.

Seek to follow these virtues if you are truely hardcore. These are from before the days of the "mass market games"
