Suggestion Box

1.       Although it might sound hypocritical, I think there should be limit on how many threads normal members start a day, taking away Mods and Contributors. I suggest a 5 thread a day limit.

2.       I think in an effort to stop spamming, one should have at least 100 post before making a thread.

I will be adding more as I get more suggestion from members,  I want to hear what you guys think.

i expect more mature posters here, so i am not worried as much. But,we need some new rules in the regular forums.

I usually only post a thread once every few days, but on certain occasions (like the recent PlayStation Day), I'll end up making many threads in just a few hours covering all the big announcements, and the above rule would kind've limit that. :(

I thought that there was a 750 post minimum here?

these first rules woul not apply to section8, Mods and Contributers. I though we are going to use section 8 to discuss issues we other would not bring up on the regular forums. I feel like this the place where we can really ask questions, give out suggestions and most of all get answers.

No on both counts.

Restricting thread creation would have the side effect of slowing down the overall forum as most people on this site don't even create threads.

To full fill the post count rules people would just spam the off-topic section. I like an occasional new thread opened by a newb. They really good ways to get to know what type of person they really are, for better or worse. When they are for the bad, they are usually interesting threads. :)

Does this go for the regular forum or Section 8?
