All I can say is "Woot!"

Is it possible that he made a mistake and meant Super Mario Galaxy in fact? I can't imagine that they officially speak the first time about a huge game like Mario Kart in this manner...

Maybe he has Mario Kart in mind at the moment because they are soon going to present it and he made this mistake therefore...

Mario Kart this year just isn't right. They have no shortage of titles as it is - and yet DO have a shortage of hardware. This is one title to keep till next year, no matter what happens...

He said "Und mit einem bisschen Glück kommt dieses Jahr auch noch Mario Kart. Aber vielleicht erfahren wir ein bisschen mehr auf der E3." "And with a little luck Mario Kart may be coming this year as well. But maybe we will get to know a little more at E3." The way he is pointing to E3 tells me that he probably has no inside knowledge and is just speculating.

But this means it's no mistake, he wouldn't point to the E3 if he were talking about Galaxy. For me, it sounds like he gives us a hint at what we can expect for E3...

The guy has no clue. He said that Europe and especially Germany is the only market that is still growing while Japan is stagnant and the US is shrinking. Don't believe that Mario Kart statement.

nintendo_fanboy, He seperately mentioned that Corruption and Galaxy are on the schedule for 2007, so he was not confusing the titles. I just think he has no clue. The relevant section is at 3:30 of the podcast.

Isn't it too early to be talking about the Mario Kart Wii? Surely it wont be out for about two years!
