more impressive than GoW1 and probably best x360 graphics so far. BTW as of now we don't really know whether this will be real gameplay or not (i'm thinking about killzone 2: started unbelievable and as time progresses becomes more and more "normal")...we'll see if as time passes by the graphics remain the same.

Simply excellent. GoW2 will be the hit this Christmas. I went to Gamestop's web site and they have moved Killzone 2 to Febraruary 24, 2009 release. That leaves only Resistance 2 in its way on the FPS side. It looks as good as KZ2 and R2 (or better) and it does so, on a box that was released a year earlier and cost $50-100 more today.

Hopefully, next week they will take more curtains off the 360 lineup for fall/Christmas. Banjo, Halo Wars, GoW2, Fable 2, Too Human, hopefully Alan Wake, and 3rd party stuff like Left 4 Dead, Age of Conan, Infinite Undiscovery, Tales of Vesperia, etc. And maybe the motion controller if there is one.

Definitely, will be an expensive holiday for both PS3 and 360 owners. Haven't heard much about the Wii yet.

I just downloaded the trailer of xbox live and yes it is much better than the first in the way it looks. So much going on and more color with sharper textures. I think it looks as good as the kz2 vids I have seen just because of the amount of stuff going on and how great the backdrop looks. KZ2 does have it on the light effects from teh sun and stuff that was just great and the explosions looked great to. I think its safe to say that these games truly are pushing next gen looks simply great.

Sony Fanboys will say it sucks. It looks just like Gears 1 and everything Sony has coming will look better. The 360 is maxed. There is no arguing otherwise and anyone who says otherwise is a fanboy.

The rest of us (what few there are) think it looks pretty interesting and hope it turns out to be a good game and will enjoy it when it arrives.

 It's not worth putting all these games of huge scale in 1080p. You would be sacrificing much more ram then you need to. I'm 99% sure resistance 2 will be in 720p but KZ2 may have a chance since the combat is on a smaller scale and is much more focused.

Wow, looks fantastic. Has my vote for best graphics on console so far. I really like the depth of field effect (I don't remember if GoW1 had it), the problem is that the 360 doesn't seems to have the juice to handle all that properly and makes the framerate kinda bad (probably is the video, but GoW1 was like this too).

Good thing I'm getting it on PC, so no loss ^_^

Where is there a video of this trailer encoded at 60 fps? I ask because the HD WMV version I watched was encoded at 30 fps, so if that's what people are using, good luck with claiming it's 60 fps...

This type of game should be fine with 30 fps.

 I don't really think that you can compare the graphics of games without them being side to side, on a large screen, and though I do think that Uncharted looks better, as does KZ 2, but they all look incredibly beautiful
