rockpig, that makes no sence. you can call people fanboys but i cand call you one?! i will treat you like anyone else on this forum i dont have to suck up to you. i have never looke dto see who are mods on this forum, it shouldnt matter. and like username same the evidence is overwhelming.

I saw the comparison. I know what people are complaining about...

I just said that from that crappy quality it didn't show anything that favored one console or the other in that particular part of the video. I just find it funny that people are so paranoid that this big bad website is out to get your "console of choice". I'm a fan of both HD consoles and unless something more convincing comes to light it looks like something that can be explained as a simple editing mistake.

I'm not saying it couldn't happen but from the evidence in front of me it doesn't look like it's the case.


 That's just the Youtube version. Before they pulled it, Gametrailers was hosting a 720p HD version of the video, where the PS3 "version" looked washed out and not quite as sharp.

 There's no rule saying that the moderators can't be fanboys. Rocketpig is absolutely a fanboy. Then again, so is SSJ12 and I get along with him just fine.

Here are their latest bad comparisons.

Grand Theft Auto 4 said by almost every single reviewer to look better on PS3, GT says 360 is noticeably better.

Now, there could be a few explanations for these videos. The one Rocketpig will most likely say is that the PS3 footage is component and not properly setup. Could be very true, but then again, it just shows GT is not trying to get the best comparisons, and would still make them biased towards the PS3.

Second up, the PS3 version footage could be compressed slightly more, but again, that makes them biased towards the PS3.

Lastly, there could be full blown tampering with the video footage of one or both, putting the comparison in the 360's favor, again being biased towards the PS3.

Well Mr. Rocketpig, what do you say?

Suspicious, but I'd give them that, there's more a chance of incompetence than malicious at work.

Conspiracy theory.
Sony paid GT to mash up the video and purposely make that obvious mistake so that MS takes a blow on the rep. Everyone will think MS is paying GT instead of Sony mastermind the whole thing.
