Americans are lucky, at least you have a chance of getting a decent president (IMO - Barack Obama), i live in the UK and at the moment the 2 main parties are awfull, niether Brown or Cameron strikes me as being god for the country, neither party seems to want to give citizens any rights or freedoms, (more get taken away every week it seems) and finally niether party can claim to be in touch with society.

Barack Obama would be a disaster. His concept of economics is complete nonsense.

I don't doubt his intentions. But all the intentions in the world are irrelevant if your an economic idiot.

At the end of the day you need a balance. It's all well and good to have grand ideas, but if you don't have the economic strength to fund them...........

 Most places allow write-ins.   (Not that it would have a chance of winning most of the time, but I think it has worked for some city level positions on rare occations...)

Obama wants to create a communist dictatorship out of the US. People like him because theyve created an improper idea of him and look past all his numerous faults.

You should be happy you dont have 2 extremely dangerous choices like clinton and obama.

Clinton wouldn't be very inspiring, but she'd be able to hold her own and maybe right the US political ship a little bit. 

I just think that bringing someone like Obama in at a time when the economy is already floundering is social and economic suicide. 

At least in Britain you have three bad choices to choose from. We let ourselves be forced to choose between dumb and dumber.

Lose-lose situation? Happens all the time. That's how Bush was reelected.

Imo, we're facing a lose-lose-lose situation here in the US.

It is a lose-lose-lose situation for the US in 08, but Obama I think would be the most dangerous "lose".
