sounds interesting, i'll be looking out for this
To pick up on Venji's post, a port of Skate would mean it's bound by whatever development rules and limitations were in place for the PS3/X360 version would carry over to Wii and would be made worse because of the natural limitations of Wii technically.
Being developed from the ground up on Wii allows the developers to no longer be bound by those limitations which will allow them to make it better from a technical standpoint.

For myself it isn't Tony Hawk or Sk8 it's SSX I want to see, use the balance board + Wiimote & Nunchuck to pull off ubers that feel real.
I'm Unamerica and you can too.
The Official Huge Monster Hunter Thread:
well thats 2 games EA are making for the Wii board so I guess we can expect a balance board compatible version of SSX at some point, I like the fact they are concentrating on developing the Wii version in house as well as assigning the original Skate developers to the task yet outsourcing the DS version - are Ea taking Wii seriously finally?
Gotta wonder where they've been hiding this team of "Wii Experts" though.
I had heard bout the title earlier on today, but I didnt read about the balance board. Now I'm more interested in the title. I don't know if this was mentioned in the article, I skimmed it a bit, but do you use the balance board PLUS the Wiimote and Nunchuck. Or is it just the Balance Board if you choose to use it?
