Well the game sure is looking good. I think they've pretty much achieved what they wanted, or at least gotten really close. They've still got until 2009 so let's see what improvements they can make in that time period as well. Thanks for posting these comparison pics. It's good to see them side by side.

yea ,,The game play video shown are still pre-alpha,so I think GG might even still improve graphics

most of the ones are the right are just really blurred out, one of those pics is basically just the gun taking up the whole screen and it's really blurry ( i know those are in game effects). The ones on the left are clean but the ones are the right are bright and blurry.

The graphics are bloody amazing, best I've seen on a console, but I'm really hoping the gameplay will be up to scratch. I have a bad feeling that it won't, though. =/

Imo the mo-cap, character models, map architecture, gun models etc all look far far better now then it all did on the pre-rendered clip from '05. All that the '05 video has going for it is polished textures and detail, the explosions do look sweet but it's all scripted and pre-rendered.

The '08 level of detail is nearly there, it's still pre-alpha and as it is it's more than I could ask for anyway. People are complaining about it not being 60fps and 1080p, but is that possible? So far the only games I've played with those stats are racing games like Gran Turismo and Wipeout.

This game is top of my highly anticipated games list.

I wish i had the beta, the game looks better and better everyday, whats the multiplayer like? what game does it resemble gameplay wise? Counterstrike/R2/Socom/COD4?
