I think it will go Wii exclusive only if Overworks did a good amount of work on the SoA2 for Gamecube. If they got far enough along in development it would be cheaper to finish the game on Wii than to start over from scratch on the HD consoles. If never got outside of the planning stages then I'm not sure. Of course, both the PS3 and 360 have bombed in Japan so it may go Wii exclusive because its the only console that has a huge market in every region.

Also, if it stays true to the original by not using FMV and maintaining the art style all the way through the game from the opening cutscene to the ending credits, I'll be very impressed. 

Since the original was on Gamecube, Sega has done good business on Wii and RPG's sell high percentages in Japan I expect this to be a Wii title.

I surely hope so, since SoA was amazing.

The original was on the Dreamcast and it was released in 2000.  It was later schedule for a PS2 and Gamecube port.  It released on the Gamecube in 2002 as Skies of Arcadia Legends however the PS2 port was cancelled.

Since they made Valkyrie Chronicles for the PS3, I have a hunch this one is coming to the PS3 as well.
