Silly person!  Both 3-D Castlevania games were N64 exclusives.  I've been waiting and hoping they'd show up on the Virtual Console, but the N64 is pretty barren on there.

The last rumor I heard was:

A new 2-D Castlevania for the DS.
A new 2-D (or 2.5-D) Castlevania exclusive to the Wii.
And another brazen attempt at a 3-D Castlevania on the Xbox360 and PS3.

To whoever said they'd like to see FPS-style gameplay in a Castlevania title:  Please do not ever talk about Castlevania ever again.

Well, IGA (Castlevania's head director right now) has wanted to make a good 3D Castlevania. Maybe the Wii controls will give him that creative spark.

I assumed they'd make another DS game. It will be interesting to see if they keep it 2D/SotN derivative or if they'll try something new.

There is nothing better than the words "Rumor" and "Confirmed" in the same topic header :P
