If it was legal then they wouldn't have to spend so much money on it (and taxes would go to the government not lining some drug dealers pocket).  I wasted a lot of money in the past on it but I really don't care.  I have too many games anyways that I haven't even played.

as soon as marijuana gets legalized people would just move onto the NEXT drug and try and legalize that.  Don't know whats one step up from marijuana, but that is what eveyrone would move to doing and then want that legalized.

Tried it once back in high school and didn't like it. To this date I have smoked 1 cigarette and a 1 spliff and I don't plan to smoke anything again.

Tbh I regret smoking that one spliff because what if I wanted more and got hooked like many of my crackhead friends? I've seen too many people fuck their lives up for this thing.

So you would rather have the Mexican drug cartels making the money and spewing their violence over the USA border.  Prohibition doesn't work.  You would think the USA learned that lesson during alcohol prohibition.  What did we have when we made alcohol illegal?  We had more crime, deaths, murders, etc.  People were dying from drinking bad alcohol.   Drug use by teens/etc in Netherlands is actually less than USA.

How do I argue in court?  Well lets see... Marijuana is a naturally grown crop that has been with humans since the beginning.  The paper, cotton and other industries don't want marijuana to become legal.  You want to know why?  Hemp....  Hemp is grown in Europe and many other places for paper.  Cotton is one of the most water demanding crops there is.  USA encourage farmers to grow hemp during WW2 for rope, etc...  I guess after WW2 we didn't need hemp anymore we could just use more expensive methods of producing things (like cutting down trees for paper).  I can go on and on do you want me to?

Marijuana is better than all other drugs because you can't overdose and die from it.  Sure there are people that are allergic to it or have asthma attack after smoking it.  Sure there are people that check themselves into the emergency rooms because they smoked too much or newbie smoker.  You know what??  They don't die.  Go take 20 Advil and let me know if you live.

You are missing the point and obviously don't know enough about human history of drugs, etc. It won't make the cartels stop because then they would just deal coke, heroin, etc. I am saying it would stop the violence over marijuana. There will always be a demand for drugs. You can't stop it. So lets just fight a pointless never-ending war on drugs and throw all the users in jail instead of trying to possibly help them with their addiction. Go watch some of the History Channel drug specials.  You will see that most drugs in the USA became illegal due to prejudice against other races (this is the case for a most of drugs in USA that are illegal except for heroin, morphine, and a few others (which white people were mainly the addicts)).  Mexicans smoked the majority of marijuana back in the day and we didn't like Mexicans too much back then so we made it illegal.  Chinese liked to smoke opium but once the Chinese started taking the white man's women luring them into opium dens that soon became illegal.  Coke was thought to be a super drug for blacks that could stand up to a hailstorm of bullets from cops.  Coke was soon made illegal...  Educate yourself instead of making prick remarks.

Ya sorry Twesterm, but you don't know what you're talking about. I've been smoking pot for 10 years and I have a degree in Theoretical Physis and doing Masters in Nuclear Physics. Funniest of all is that what I am doing pales in comparison to what some of my friends are achieving even though they hit the bong every day.

During these last 10 years I've smoked HEAPS of weed, but never ever touched any hard drugs. I take mushrooms about once a month and stop there. No chemicals, no addictive drugs AT ALL. Moreover, my alcahol intake is probably 10% of the average person in my demographic group. If you consider that alcahol is worse for your intestines and brain than weed then that makes me smarter than the people who get drunk every weekend and say ''POT IS BAD''. 

Those people spend more money than me, get 'high' less often than me, act like idiots when they're drunk while I play my drum or some PS3, mess up their bodies waaay more than me yet they still have the audacity to call me a moron!?

I'm sorry, but we live in different worlds. In my world everyone who smokes pot is a friend and welcome in my home. I regularly give charity to Rastas (there are bone fide Rastas in Cape Town) and admire the way they live close to nature. Some of the most peaceful and wise people I know smoke weed.

In short, you can't comment on something if you don't know anything about it.

You don't look at it the right way at all. Here are several things to consider:

1) They are a little stupid for paying that much. I smoke TONS of weed and only pay about $15 per week. I also share this weed with at least 5 people every week.

2) How much does the average person spend on McDonald's or Cigarettes or other such crap things!? How then can you call weed smokers out for paying such a small amount?

3) TAKE A SEED, PUT IT IN SOME EARTH AND HEY PRESTO. It grows. Seriously. Not very difficult. One plant can supply you with pot for a whole year.

You should be more worried about getting addicted to cigarettes than marijuana.

3. so sicne something is easy to grow or make it should be legal?  how hard is it to make coccaine or herroine or ect.  millions of people make beer at home and that is way tougher than growing marijuana.  there are tons that make meth and that is reasonably difficult and dangerous, but doesn't stop them from amking it.  Whether something is easy to make or hard to make has no bearing in regards to whether it should be legal or not.  Hell i could easily go and kill someone.
