Can a game with the Title "Kid Icarus" be M-rated? That seems weird. Well, either way I can t wait for it.

It used the same engine and both were side-scrolling shooters, but other than that, Kid Icarus and Metroid aren't anything alike.
Metroid focused on exploration with a large, open-ended design. Kid Icarus used a traditional linear level structure where the focus is staying alive while you make your way to the end of the level.

Yes and no. Kid Icarus was similar to Metroid in that it featured lots of platforming, vertical stages, shooting, and upgrades. Metroid dealt heavily with exploration, Kid Icarus is mostly linear.
"I feel like I could take on the whole Empire myself."
it's been unofficially confirmed for months now. IGN has been talking about it forever if you listen to their wii podcasts, and have pretty much confirmed factor 5 is the developer. They are tongue in cheek about it, but they don't make it hard to read between the lines. In the latest podcast (or was it last week's can't remember) they said about kid icarus "Look we all know who the developer is by now, it's out there". It's not really a secret in the least, it's just not being talked about openly.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

^ Its a game that made by Nintendo that nobody cares about, only 1 in 10 million devoted Nintendo fans knows that this game was existed. Nintendo only made 2 games out of this franchise, the one was the NES and one was in gameboy in 1980's. The game just became popular again because Nintendo wants to revive this franchise again, but before this announcement no one knows this existed, they dont even know its made by Nintendo.
Its a side scrolling game, hardly a platformer but you can jump and you can fly and you can shoot arrows. The game was linear, most of the stages are just going up, up, up.
Though I like this because Nintendo finally make new franchise aside from Metroid, Zelda and Mario.
