i just thought id post this because many was wondering how much sales has gt5 prologue sold retail & psn

on vgchartz it only has the retail sell throgh at around 1.57million which is superb for a prologue game.

very successful if you ask me, i predict gt5 full game to sell 10million copies

imagine what the actual gran turismo 5 will do if the prologue sold this much.

Could easily sell more than 10 million. A lot of people will buy PS3s just for this game.

I wonder why this version was so hugely popular in NA. It even sold more in NA then in Europe.

We can assume that the 223k is left on store shelves, And that PSN downloads are around 400k.

Didn't know it was bundled as ioi points out, but it was also the first GT on PS2. That can make a big difference. There's usually a lot of hype surrounded a popular franchise moving to the next generation of consoles. God of War 3 should have a similar result (relative to its previous sales, I mean).

 Gran Turismo 4 10.06 million while Vg put it at 8.90 million. Otherwise its pretty spot on.
