i think DS and Wii will switch off for the leader position every couple weeks (because of Wii supply)
DS doesn't need to top Wii at all. DS slowing down (in Japan) only because everyone and their dogs own a DS.

Money is made either way, but the Wii is dropping big things and the DS hasn't in a while (except The World Ends With You) Once a mainstream success is released (DQ or whatever), sales could spike.
