I like the SSBB pit better than these concepts.

Considering the studio, I believe they will change the name to simply "Icarus". They are going to ant to distance themselves from the kiddie image of Nintendo and offer a more realistic portrayal of the series (if we can call it a series).

I think that both of these are the wrong direction.

Pit as seen in SSBB would make me much happier.

This is what is wrong with Nintendo fans. They will take the kid over a rather dashing looking (and strong) man. Then they complain of the "kid image" that Nintendo gets. This game, if good enough, could be the "silencer" of critics who think Nintendo aims for kids, even though they don't. It could also silence the hardcore critics, with a nice dark game.

I don't really know if I'd prefer a SSBB looking Pit or not. Depends on how good the game actually is. And since I've never played the original I really have no opinion either way, though he is one of my favorite characters in Brawl, so having a SSBB Pit would be kind of nice. The storyline of Pit being a fallen angel sounds very interesting though.

No we don't. Most of us actually like the kid image of Nintendo. There is a certain whimsy in Nintendo games that is lacking in other platforms. It is the non-Nintendo fans who rail against the kiddie image.

Well 2 of the endings in the first Kid Icarus, he ends up buff like the first pic in the thread.

I could see them using either a time-line based character development, that or a type of OOT type of character model (hopefully unlikely). I would prefer a time based RPG where you grow up to the buff version of Pit.

In the end, I actually don't care how Pit looks, or what type of a game they make, I just want a good game (and Nintendo is pretty good at that).

But I'm tired of playing with big buff half naked men... wait >.>
