This is actually one of the easiest level in the game, get an assault trooper place on the far right starting position. At the start of the game, move him up north and shoot the scout and lancer dead (take 2 turns) then park him in a camping position (ala FPS) with your back against the 'door' and wait.

Use your tank to block the first road south for the truck and end your turn. Wait for the dude to chuck a fit and travel to the second intersection and park its fat carcass with the engine exposed right in front of your face. Now use your next turn blasting the crap out of the radiator with your assault trooper. If you don't kill the truck in one turn. it will go down as you didn't block it again with the tank, use 2 cp for CAUTION order, or use DEF and EVADE UP order then run it down and finish him off. 

I wouldn't worry about the machine gun of the armored car, I just ignored it and used team attacks between Vyse and Rosie.

I didn't even bother moving my tank.

@mibuokami, how could a shocktrooper kill it in one turn? It would take Rosie like 20 turns to do it? *confused*

One turn as in one user turn, or all CP for the turn.

It took me 6-7 'character' turns (can't remember exact) using Vyse to kill it, my shocktroopers were level 11 at the time. This means I finish the mission in 2 user turns. You should be able to do this in three user turns max unless your troopers are under leveled.

Also Have 2 trooper doing this ambush increase damage significantly.

Wow, Salinas activated his "Tank lover" ability and an ambush with Rosie went alot smoother. I am level 6 Shocktrooper, so about half you. But i did it, yayz. I'm assuming your doing skirmishes too?

Yes I did do skirmish but I'm one of those nut that got everything on A rank because I'm obssessive compulsive, which is kinda ironic as I originally wanted to play through the first time around with just 'pass'.

I generally tried to keep the level of my characters and the chapter i'm on the same but that went out the window @ chapter 14 when I maxed everything but the Sniper and Eng.

Wow. I'm at Ch. 14, and my highest lvl is 11.

I think I'm one of those paranoid sob who scream like a little girl when he gets his backside handed to him. I was doing no skirmish (except to get the off new) until Chapter 7, Selv was basically a wakeup call and I was went nut trying to survive and started farming the skirmish. I got my Scout to lvl 20 before chapter 11 and by the time was was on 15 everything was maxed out.

I've just recenlty finished unlocking everyone's hidden potential. I'll look around for a list with all the data and if I can't find out I'll post one up to help everyone.

Some of the character are FAR better than others thanks to potential and the godly Awaken command.

lol, only Chapter 14? I only got it on Monday and I'm up to 14 o_o

Dont worry I'm even worst my classes are at lvl 11... on chapter 16 (and I had to had some skirmishes and two side mission to be able to level up) !
