I see this thread has full of love. Unlike some other threads which starts as "this is a PS3 killer" or "will destroy the 360" kind of stuff.

I think part of the reason is that the game is not overhyped like LBP or Fable 2, which always attract opposing camps.

But no hype may also mean low exposure and thus low sales...

I don't own a PS3, but I'd like this game to succeed, partly because I'm a Sega fanboy and partly because I'm a fan of good games.

You can move 8 times in the first turn, if you deploy Alicia, Rosie and Largo.

The best possible result of the "skirmish" is to kill both of the red soldiers (the other soldiers don't give additional money or exp, but you'll need to kill atleast two of them to not lose any of your units)  and the tank and finish the game in the first turn (with my strategy it's possible to do all that with 7-8 moves).

strategy-spoiler:

Along with the 3 mentioned I deploy Marina and Wavy and start out by sniping the closest Shocktrooper with a headshot (you'll have to walk a few steps to have a high chance to hit). Second move is to storm to the red soldier in the southeast with Wavy and take him out with a grenade. 3rd to move Marina as close as you can to the second Shocktrooper and give him a headshot (careful to not walk into his or the tanks range). 4th move is to move Alicia behind the fences directly to the south of your starting position to the red soldier at the bridge and take him out with a grenade. 5th move to run as far south with Largo as you can and as close to the tank as you can and shoot one round into the upper body of the tank (don't try to hit the weakspot yet, just make a fine clear hit). 6th move to move Largo directly behind the tank and hit the weakspot (Largo has enough hp to withstand the fire of the Scout), now the tank should be destroyed, but if it isn't you have another move to kill it. 7th/8th move is to run over the bridge with Alicia, kill the enemy at the flag with headshots and take the flag.

Though I might not buy it on day one because I will be getting Resistance 2 but maybe my fiance will get it for me so who knows.

Last game i'll b e getting for the year I think. Outside of gifts anyway of which i'm sure i will get a lot since gaming is basically the only hobby of mine that costs money.
