Gotta love the Japanese and their obsession with porn games...you figure we would have more over here, but I guess there is just tighter control over things like that and retailers are unwilling to carry them.

If you've played the demo, you realise Agarest Senki has a very bad gameplay, and doesn't appear so interesting at all.
The original concept is good, but it's very badly executed.
If I ever buy this game, that will be when it has a price drop, and it still hasn't one, at least on the sites that allow to buy japanese games from Europe. Full price in yen for Agarest just won't cut it for me.
OTOH, full price (even in Euro land) for Valkyria is no problem at all. The difference in quality is that big.

Huh early Disgaea reviews are better then i expected.

Five reviews... all between 85 and 80.

That's a good sign for this game when it comes to the reviews.

This game was going to be a 360 exclusive, but then they decided to make it a PS3 exclusive. They never told us why though.

Anyways, I see this game selling around 250k in the US alone. As for Europe, like 150k. The reviews would be in the 80s. It'll get misunderstood by many reviewers, but others will praise the game.
