Whenever you get your PS3 back, just stop everything and play it.

Game has been so far really good (epic story, awesome japanese voice acting and addictive combat system) but now I am really losing temper with mission 8. I have died at least three times at same spot where shocktrooper kills either Welkin or Alice. I hate sneaking missions. Hopefully this one is last of the game. -.-

Yeah, it's the only one in the game.

Make sure you heal Alicia's leg, and that you take your time! There isn't a time limit.

I also just started this and I have to say its awesome. I've been playing at my friends place and watching some videos online, but playing this is just beyond good :D
I'm at 4th or 5th chapter now.

Ah ah Ty the iimmortal ! I remember the guy I died about 20 times because of him, I'll give you two hints 1. save your progression just before meeting him it will spare you the trouble of starting the mission over and over again. 2. You stand no chance if you use the rifle.

Hehe, yeah the only way I beat him was to sneak around and use a nade to turn him. Then got my other character to throw another while he's turned around. That ended up killing him.

And remember, you don't have  to kill him.

As a general advice against contantly dogging enemies
1. shoot them from the back
2. if impossible shoot them in the foot - that way even if he dodges to the ground he will still get full payload
3. use grenades and flamethrowers
