BECAUSE IT WILL BE AMAZING!!!

Creating your own levels, playing other peoples levels. Apparently there is a story mode. The physics looks amazing. The art style is the best ever. The sack boys are so damn cute!

I disagree. They make me feel disturbed and wanting to stick needles in them. I have not seen any sort of physics on the trailers at all.

Really? Then you never seen any gameplay footage. All gameplay movies out there show off the real world physics pretty well. The game has an unbelievable physics engine.

Head up to gametrailers.com and search for LittleBigPlanet and look at the "Gameplay" movies.

It looks okay, but I doubt it will reach a million sales.

I don't know, Sony's been pimping this game out pretty hard, I wouldn't be surprised to see some mass marketing in all regions for this game when it comes out

1 million would be great, i doubt it though. 750k

I'm going with a million AT LEAST. Sony will push this hard, as this is the only game that can steal any casual gamer who owns a Wii who might be looking for another console.

Sky is the limit for this game, if it really catches on, it might be Sony's mascot

Soriku (Feb 10/08): In 5 years the PS3/360 will be dead.

Because it's bringing something thats been on PCs for ages but is doing it in a much more accessable way... and it's the type of game niche fans love to hype up and give unrealistic projections about.

See Zack and Wiki.

Europe is going to save this game, i dont think it will do well in NA

I haven't quite got it neither. It looks really interesting but I question whether it will sell well. To me, it could be another Viva Pinata. Great game, great concepts, but many people may not relate.

the reason VP failed on xbox was not because of the game itself, the game is great, but with absolutely 0 hype and xbox's mininal casual market, it just didn't sell.

but LBP is different, with easy to make courses, I personally will go online weekly to download new tracks made by other people. I hope they have "Most popluar" list of new maps, Man, it'd be great.

It's not like the PS3 has a huge casual market at the moment either.  None of Sony's big casual apps have dropped... and unless i'm wrong, none of them are going to drop until after LBP.

it will benefit from a higher userbase.

Hopefully.  I really like games like this.  The only problem is on the PC they're often bugged.  Seems like Sony is informally pushing it back to fix such problems.  So that's a good sign.
