Sony and Microsoft (as their current consoles stand) have very little titles that offer a lot to everyone--the mass market. Not just price, but the games. A lot of people don't want a damn shooter. Same gameplay, graphics vary and to top it all off, it's just a new paint job. Violent games might sell a lot, but pretty much a lot of people just don't give a fucking damn about it. The people I work with are all into video games that pretty much are engrossing, and the only ones that are belong to Nintendo, their games and their consoles. My workmates are not Nintendo fanboys/fangirls at all, they just like what Nintendo has to offer more than the over zealous violence and immature games Microsoft and Sony offer. I can give you the reason that violence is not always fun, but immature. The best way to solve violence in real life is by being MATURE about it by not trying to start it. Therefore, violent games are immature (GTA).

I think PRETTY MUCH all the people who want all these high profile games ALREADY HAVE a PS3 or X360. You can pretty much GUESS it through last week's console sales for PS3 and X360 respectfully. Really, look at it. All this unwanted hype on this website about the 'AAA' games are going to sell consoles (except for bundled consoles with the games included) are pretty much redundant because people already have that console the high profile game is going to be released on. So quit spewing this hype unless you already know the facts I presented. THE END.

GTA did move alot of consoles dont get it twisted.
And sales of the hd consoles will always go up when the high profile games come along. and hasnt anyone ever thought that the Wiis market is only so big and that because its cheap everyone who wants one can get one. (when they are in stock that is) the market for the wii may become saturated not a fact or nothing just a thought.

for example lets say 80mil people want a wii. Because of the price everyone who wants one can afford one, so the sales are high. but when the wii starts to reach 80mil the sales go down because the market has become saturated.

I think Microsoft will respond at E3, their not doing anything wrong.
Sony made some bold statements such as, "GTAIV DLC is the last shot Microsoft has"
and "ps3 has a better line up in 08 than 360".

Obviously it's what you expect them to say but it's all opinions.

That first comment is retarded and the second is opinion based.

E3 is where it's at, not Sony day:)

 It's a zero-risk system that you can sell for more than the price when you are done with it.  I bought mine two months ago and now just sold it for a $50 profit.

HAZE that run in low resolution (576p)... 

MGS4 beta wasnt really good...

Gears of war 2 will sell twice the numbers of Resistance 2...

GTAIV runs better on XBOX360...

MGS4 beta? You mean MGO beta? There is in fact quite a difference between the two, and you clearly need some enlightment. Metal Gear Online is the multiplayer part of Metal Gear Solid 4.

GeoW2 selling double that of R2. That is as fanboyish a comment as they come, and right now, no one knows how that battle is going to turn out.

GTA IV running better on the 360. I do believe that most reviewers have said that the two versions run nearly identical, but there is a miniscule difference in performance and that the PS3 has the edge over the 360
