I have!

I've completed the first island, and 1/2-3/4 of the second island, played a good bit of Multiplayer, and Free roaming, and did plenty of side missions.  I'm 40% complete the game, and I CBF to go back and complete it.

But this always happens to me.  I never finished San Andreas or GTA: Vice City.  But I did finish GTA III and Liberty City/Vice City Stories for PSP.  Finishing this game is going to prove very hard.  

I've actually stopped playing it to play Assassin's Creed, can't believe I missed out on the game in November.  And I'm going to start playing Lost Odyssey again, probably on Friday, but I won't pick back up GTA IV for some time.

So has anyone else stopped playing this game?

hell no, i haven't put it down. although to be fair i haven't dedicated myself to it yet...i'm still splitting time between GTA4 and CoD4.

i do that to every now and again I havent beaten Motorstorm and i bought that over a year ago it will take me at lest 3 months to beat this admittedly specatacular tilte that deserves all of its hype and success,

I haven't put it down. But I've definitely been playing less of it. Generally, I get a game, play it heavily the first day or two, then cruise for the rest of the game. That's why it's taking me over a month to beat Odin Sphere (I got to the last boss yesterday). And I've put 14 hours into GTA4 so far, with most of them put in the first 3 days I had the game. Now I just load it up and beat a mission or 2 and turn it off.

I let games that are great grab my attention at every moment.. and the others I tend to shift away from to play other titles.

It is not up to any decision I make.. It is all the games.

-Ratchet and Clank
-Assassins Creed

I find myself constantly playing COD4, Warhawk, GT5P, And now of course the best game I play is GTAIV.

I haven't but, like you, I might start playing Lost Odyssey again because I still haven't completed it yet.

I have finished the story and some of the side stuff, sitting at 74.75% right now and ihave pretty much stopped playing the game. The game was freezing when i tried to go online so i can't even try that out.

I have started to play much better games since i stopped playing GTA4, VC and SA are getting played at the moment. Plus i might go back and finish off HL2:EP2 this weekend.

I put down GTA4 to play more Mario Kart Wii! Timetrials FTW!... However, i still play it (GTA4) for like 30 minutes a day, just freeroaming and using cheats and stuff XD... I'll finish it when summerholiday starts!
