Forums - Sales - Wii at 31 million or PS3 at 14 million. What happens first?

PS3 at 14 million, these numbers will show up around MGS 4 time, and PS3 hw should be a sustained high for a few weeks. It'll probably "win" by 2-3 or possibly 4 whole weeks.

I'm not trolling, it's just that 14 million or 31 million are not milestones. Why not 14 million or 30 million?

Regardless, the PS3. Nintendo might have some trouble with stock in the upcoming weeks.

PS3 really. Only way it could not happen is the wii were to get last weeks shipments for the next month...

Wii with maximum 1.8 mln. per month, so 3,5 mln. in 8 weeks.
So Wii by that time in Best case will be on 29 mln.

i'm wondering how you came up with the two numbers 31 and 14.. they seem kind of arbitrary, and for that reason i sort of agree with montanahatchet... 30 and 15 might be a bit more of a milestone comparison, or even 35 and 15... but still..

 And he either hasn't looked at, or more likely has looked at and is actively ignoring, the shipment projections by Nintendo which requires them to produce something like 2.4 million Wiis monthly.
