I think it goes without saying that the Wii should be selling a lot better than how it is. I mean, it's half the price of the PS3 for a long time, and despite its "wide appeal" to the "Blue Ocean" of casual gamers, it's only managed a 2:1 hardware ratio over the PS3, and a measly 1.4:1 ratio over the 360. It should be at least 5:1 over both. And look at how it's actually losing in market share to the HD consoles 45% to 55%.

Blame the casuals, with their lack of brand loyalty and little disposable income to spend on video games, the sales just aren't there. Just take a look at the attach rates! Numbers don't lie. Maybe Pachter's numerous "Wii is doomed" predictions will soon come to fruition. With the release of GTA:IV, the process will only speed up, and soon people will start seeing the Wii for what it really is; a fad. Look at the Gamecube sales and you will see they started out similarly. And just look what happened to it.

Wii is a problem. Causing a gaming de-evolution so intense that it's almost like playing an internet flash game with the gimmick-y Wiimote. Third parties are seeing this, and that's why all they're doing is putting out minigames. People complain that there isn't enough third party support, but this is why! Not only does the Wii have little outside support, but the Wimote can cause some serious damage! Seriously, how many thousands of dollars in damage due to a Wiimote through the TV is it going to take before consumers realize that this system is a hazard? Wrist strap or not, I smell a negligence lawsuit coming. Then there's Wii Fit.

Fit people, first of all, have no reason to buy this, and fat people could potentially break the expensive board! Or what happens if someone strains or pulls a muscle? More negligence on Nintendo's part. When Metal Gear Solid 4 comes out, the Wii is finished. When the HD adoption rate goes up, people will realize that they don't need an inferior gaming machine. The PS3 is on a ten year plan anyway. It's only a matter of time Wii, your days are numbered.

Another one of these? Rol's original was not funny in the slightest so it goes without saying that the dozen or so follow up's with the exact same content falls short.
This, too me, is just another phenomenon I'll never wrap my (drywitted?) head around, much like Rick Rolling (which is about as funny as a rootfilling).
