Two Brits versus 4 (then 2) Americans, we came 1st and second throughout all 8 races except I got 1 3rd place (did you get a 3rd as well?)

You don't seem that great at the track with the river, you kept hitting those spinning things in the tunnel.... I was rather unfortunate in that race though, tony/amp managed to place an excellent fake item box after you go down the waterfall, which pushed me into 4th of 4 by then (2 people seemed to disconnect in that race) then I raced back to 2nd but I got a thundercloud... I seriously despise that power up, and it hit me as I was in mid air from the first jump.

Lol.  I don't understand what was happening there.  Maybe I was falling asleep given it was after 2am for us.  Also on N64 Bowser's castle how I lost is like the one of the biggest mysteries of life.  I had an incredible lead and then on the 3rd lap rather than focusing on my race I kept on looking at the map and wondering how I could be so far ahead of Larry Lion.  Then I ended up on a wall completely off the track and lost the lead.
