I have the King's Quest Collection on my PC and Police Quest series is also rather easy to get a hold of, so for me its not important at all.

I agree with coglestop - let them be. However it would be nice if someone else picked up the torch and revived that type of game on Wii (but typing would be a chore). That would actually be really cool because you could make a 20hr long game and sell it for $5-10 on Wiiware like that.
It would be cool to see the adventure genre revived, there were some incredibly good games back in the day, Gabriel Knight was among my favourite series!

I'm not talking about abandonware either. Most of the classic adventure game franchises have been released in XP-compatible collection boxes. I recently bought Space Quest (already have 1-5, but this one has 6 as well), and saw at least King's Quest and Police Quest... at the kid's shelf of my local Gamestop.

I would love to, but the price would have to be right. I already played most of the ones I was interested in, and wouldn't want to play much to replay games I already beat... It's been over 20 years for some them....
Quest for Glory I'd definitely pay money for, I wish they'd make a new one.
but in all seriosness...
If you were to bring back all the classic Sierra games, I think it would be better on a PS3. Due to the fact you need a keyboard to type stuff like KEN SENT ME.
I dont see a reason to have these games polished just for the Wii alone, would be nice to see these games for any console...
Would be nice if they started remaking all these games :) Although they wouldn't be the same since the key people who made these games work no longer work at Sierra, hence the latest Leisure Suit Larrys and how horrible they have done
....But yes I do miss the Sierra games! Kings Quest, Police Quest, Space Quest, Leisuire Suit Larry, Camelot... and then there are others like Hugos House of Horrors, Keen Commander, Duke Nukem I & II, Rise of The Triad, etc
I believe the only classic games that are still being made are Police Quest (Now known as SWAT), and Leisure Suit Larry (Console based game now)
I wouldnt mond, but I dont think they would be financially worth it for them.
Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.
Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
