And Wii only needs couple of hundred thousand units to win 360 in america... thats how big this sales are in america.

gta iv didn't do jack crap to wii, further showing that the HD consoles are not in compeition with the Wii.

The wii is being purchased by casuals who play wii sports for 2 weeks and now its collecting dust. I'm not talking about the hardcore ninty fans, just the casuals who prolly make up 50% of the wii's purchased

I'm not a hardcore ninty fan, I never owned any of there consoles before.
I'm a PC Gamer and yet I have a Wii and play it often, I already have 11 games for it - everything from Zelda & Metriod to Wii Fit & mario Kart.

Alex, clearly your a troll or you simply haven't been around VG chartz enough to see reality.

Sure, Nintendo did flood the market with their consoles for once. but why can't they do this earlier? WHy leave those in the warehouse when they could be in someone's home earlier where they'd buy another game or two?
 I wasn't going to get into this and had only come to this topic to make sure it wasn't going to get nasty but I just have to clear this up:
  1.  Mario Kart isn't Nintendo's most popular franchise, that would be Super Mario Bros. 
  2. If you want to get nasty, it took two consoles to beat one Nintendo game that averages a good 10 points lower than it.
  3. Nintendo flooded the market?  Yeah, they upped production but flooding the market is when you put A LOT of supply out there and then it just sits there.  As long as Wii's move they aren't doing anything wrong.
  4. I could have swore I have seen interview after interview where Reggie says there is no mythical warehouse full of Wii's.
