And I wonder at how some people have a very selective memory, so selective that they manage to forget the years of bashing a company and a console before it was even released, calling it a failure and the company dead (or at least going third party) before even the release.
But without that selective memory, it would destroy the argument that the Wii is praised just because "People just like to throw it in other people's faces that their system 'won'". Yeah right.
Selective memory is a really good tool.
This GTAIV is exactly the same thing BTW. Selective memory kicks in again, how convenient.
Because here, the case is not that the Wii just won, the case is that in the huge circle of Wii and Nintendo haters, GTA IV was set from at least 1 year ago, to destroy the Wii and skyrocket the other consoles in sales.
The Wii bubble should then have burst and the Wii should have stop selling.
It's not just a case of cheering for a team there. It's a case of cheering for David who endured lots of abuse before being pitted agains Goliath. And he just went out of the fight and abuse with barely a scratch.
