Sadly the only thing I can give these (PES is better on the Wii) guys is that the developer did come out and say it was better on the Wii.

Remember how Madden 07 and Tiger Wood 07 sold very well in USA ?

Then, you could think the same would happen for Madden 08 and T W 08, which had more modes, options, online for Madden and were overall better games

But it never happened : what made M 07 and TW 07 sell well was the novelty factor and I believe it's the same for PES Wii.

09 iteration shoul not be so popular, especially when PS3 and 360 have better install base by then (compared to PS2 I mean)

Konami also said they are dissapointed with the PS3 and 360 version and promised to deliver next year.. consider that, plus their new attempt is exciting wii the wii-mote for them and it's understandable..

Haven't played it yet. The response I got from my friend who thinks the Wii is the greatest console wasn't overly optimistic but this may have been because he only played it for a few hours. Needless to say, i'd have to play it before I would consider buying it. Though i'm sure pro evo 2009 on the wii will probably be the best selling version.

oh now it's all of sudden 'anti football on the wii guys', while it was all about whether all those million football gamers would switch to the Wii or not, which I don't see happening.. and it's also important that GTA, Gran Turismo, MGS and Pro Evo fit much better than Zelda, SSBM, Super Mario and Pro Evo, but that's the guys I know, I don't know how that is with your mates and other gamers in other countries, but that's the way it is here where I am..

Actually Madden 07 & Tiger Woods 07 were not good one the Wii (check the reviews, the Golf game in Wii sports has better controls than Tiger Woods, even though TW has much deeper play). If the 07's are not good, it makes sense the '08's didn't sell as well. EA blew it (imagine that)!

PES2008 has been very well recieved, so it should have the reverse effect, causing sales in '09 to increase. 

The Wii version needs to pass the PSP version to gain some consideration. Both were released late, and the Wii should pass.

An interestin battle awaits next year in Europe.
