@Kyros, We aren't hyping the graphics of the game, rather than the engine, which is something that 3rd parties don't do on the wii. This doesn't just mean we get better graphics, it means we also get better 3rd party support. Most of the hype for the game wasn't even on the graphics, that was just a plus.
because it is in a genre that the wii lacks severely in good games (fps) it is due to them saying they are going to be Marketing the engine for others to buy,
and it is the first "engine" with game that a 3rd party has really talked about to any extent,
now- there are 3? engines that are built specifically for the wii that i know about.
gamebyro, high voltages, and one other i cannot think of the company's name. i am sure there are more, but if the engine pans out the way the Devs Want, then the wii will have an engine that will allow more games to be brought to market faster.
the 360/ps3 have ~3 main engines that 3rd parties use for their games.
crytek
unreal
gamebyro
one is coming

They developed such classics as 50 Cent: Bulletproof, White Men Can't Jump, The Family Guy Game, Leisure Suit Larry and many more! How have you not heard of them!?!?!

HORRIBLE TEXTURES sorry caps as usual.. ok not so sorry but the caps were an accident that I decline to correct.
That's the usual from these guys, as for the shadows, that's the least of the problem, if they can't use the right enviornment for this game its going to suck, right now those Aliens look horribly out of place and I'd preffer they stop releasing screens until it's visually pleasing and expected to a professional extent.
But that's just me. That screen looked like some really bad Indy work up.

Yea but it's just a torn apart version from what they explained, it's just portions of the engine.
But depending on what those parts are the difference visually can be amazing, if possible.
