The only problem I have with the game is I have no idea how to throw grenades. If I could figure that out I would be set.

i dunno if anyone else had this problem but its annoying sometime when u hide and shoot. like the second u hide you try to aim and it feels like the aimer is stuck on a certain area. anyone?

are all the buttons in the same place? (i.e. get in car is the top one?) |
It is but I'm used to playing GTA using the PS2 controller, it feels different to me.

It takes quite an effort to have worse controls than previous GTA games (for any game), in my very honest opinion this has been the series' weakness since day one of the fully 3D installments (i.e; GTA III).
lol i am the girlfriend little brother but my mum want buy me gta nooooooo

I never really bothered with michelle. The good news is that you are getting close to Algonquin, which is just amazing. I am getting close to getting a nice safehouse, but i am still in the rubbish one in Bohan |
GTA IV is just classic GTA with some minor improvements which is good but SA was better and the best in the series story/music/voice actors/characters and game play(referring to the amount of things you can do) wise.I agree this game doesn't deserve to be held as the best in the series or the best game for that matter.
My friend brought it over last night, and I played with a couple of people, screwing around for a few hours (this is on 360). I didn't get to play more than a few missions, since it was so much fun going on rampages.
It's not a 10, more like a 9-9.5. The graphics, though very good for such a huge game, are not perfect. I didn't really like the controls (switching weapons on the d-pad is kind of awkward), and driving took some getting used to, since I'd only played PC versions of the games extensively. The new cover system improved combat though, and I like the new wanted system more, though on higher levels (4+) it is impossible to escape. And of course, the game is still hilarious. I once flew out of my car, landed alive on the ground, and got hit head on by a cop car, and flew 50 yards back. However, though I don't think my rating will change, I need to play the story more still. Hopefully I'll get it in a few weeks when I have more cash to spare.
I have it on the 360 and changed the camera view to in car unless i'm on a bike and it works perfectly - you'll be dodging in and out of lanes at top speed in no time.
I'm 23% in and in the 2nd home - great game.
