Not really. If games don't fund themselves, they'll stop making them. Profits are for stockholders, not for the "real projects."

Luckily Assassin's Creed sold really, really well and was no doubt highly profitable on its own.

It must be stated, that the sales of the 3 Imagine games are mainly driven by Europe, with Europe's percentage of the total sales for Imagine Babies at 66%, Imagine Fashion at 70% and Imagine Cooking even at 75% of the total, made up by Europe.

Actually America is really 'underperforming' on these new style DS games, not only these Imagine games, but also the Sight and Brain Training games are doing relatively, significantly less good in America than these games do in Europe (and Japan..)

It's because it's the only game of it's kind.

If young girls want a game like this there choices are this and.... nothing.

This beats nothing for young girls.

Games like Heavnely Sword and NMH, there are tons of games that are similar in terms of gameplay.  (the later also being REALLY low budjet... something it hides well by making it's flaws seem "ironic" whether intentional or not.)

Z&W.  Well, who knows why that one didn't sell.  I blame it on people just not wanting to think when they play vidoegames anymore.  I mean ingame puzzles have been getting easier and easier as people just want to get back to shooting zombies, or stabbing soldiers or skeletons or whatever.

Really? How is the game any different than Nintendog? Or any other sim games?

You know.. with the exception that those games actually WORKS and are enjoyable
