I'll believe Ubisoft when they start making "Nintendo-quality games", which translates to never.

PoP died on the Wii, don't dig it up.

I remember when I went to the Nintendo store to buy my Wii, I got there at 8 am and waited got
it and then had to choose a game, I had it with Zelda but I wanted something else also.

PoP was stairing me down so I said he let me get that, the guy there was like, "Dude, the
wii version sucks, the GC version has better controls and blood, trust me it's better on the GC."

I just said thanks and boom my first run in with a crappy port. I later bought the Wii version
anyway and realized (I did beat the game) that it totally was crap. Almost GTA level gag factor.

It would be great for Ubisoft to start putting real effort behind Wii releases. I respect thei decision to not include the Wii with the HD Prince of Persia, because that means they can think of a different PoP game that is built from the ground up for the Wii and takes advantage of the hardware, instead of just remapping the controls to fit.

Well, considering what they released on Wii so far I wouldn't get too excited.

I really dont wanna know these bad news after all the good announcements and news in these past days but in all of the developer/publishers its the big guys that is ditching the Wii. Atleaset EA even with their craptacular exclusives have interest on the Wii since they port some HD games to the Wii. After all, its the multiplats is EA's especialty.

No way will I support Ubisoft on the Wii. They totally blew it for me.

come on guys, remember. When training an unskilled developer, you have to make sure to use both positive and negative reinforcement, so when they do something bad, you don't support it, but when they do something good, you support that. If they can admit that their previous port to the Wii was not done properly, that shows they have the ability to recognize problems and keep them from occuring in their next attempt.

I don't know if they'll be completely successful, but it's a lot better than what some developers have managed. but either way, if they've screwed up once, that's going to make people wary and less likely to buy, which will pull down sales even if it is a good game. If it is a good game, we should try to support it.
