On the 28th they went really low in price. At my local store they were only 12 dollars each, so I bought 50 in case I ever needed some paperweight or blue light.

I was just at Costco and they had about 50 of them just sitting out on the floor with kids and everyone just walking by it without even taking a glance at it. However, it was also the same for the 360 and PS3 bundles.

They had them in stock at my local Gamestop last night. I live in Long Island, NY.

Not sure about right now, haven't went anywhere since getting out of work.

They had over 100 at a Target near my home on Sunday, they were sold out on Tuesday.

Sounds like Nintendo is deploying the stockpiles for their Wii Fit marketing blitz.

So that's why supply is low. Leo-J keeps buying them all.

The funniest part of Leo-J's post (beside the spelling errors) is that he ACTUALLY REALLY BELIEVES that more Wii's in stock will equal less sales. Then when the Wii kicks a$$ in sales he'll tell us his next 'BEST PREDITCION EVER' will me (insert more doom and gloom ablut the end of the wii here).

Leo, hate to break it to you, but the more Wii's that go out to stores, the higher Nintendo's sales will be. They are preparing for this : http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=25582

When the sales catch up to demand (2009 is your best hope) there will be colors or price drop, and sales will continue.

Of course, with GTA released, all of the plans to sell a lot of Wii Fits & more Wii's will fail, and force Nintendo to get out of the console business and put old Mario games on the PS3/4 to make money (leo-j, you have my permission to use that as your next 'preditcion').

Seriously leo, enjoy GTA on your PS3, get over the Wii sales, they aren't hurting you now that some great games are FINALLY coming your way. Just enjoy your PS3. HAVE FUN. It makes one much less negative :)
