Great news, Nintendo seems to have sent out a lot of Wiis. Maybe some of the lookers might be able to get one now. And it's pack in with SMG, which is nice.

Um, yeah I would assume that the Wii is out selling Wii Fit at Gamestop since Wii Fit isn't out yet.

Two days ago the Toys R Us still had a few in from Sunday. Of course they had over 200 on Sunday for Mario Kart. They're gone now though.

Wii's have been available at Walmart in bundles for at least a couple months. It's simply shocking that they are able to maintain stock when it's only a $560 bundle.

I just can't fathom why a $250 console isn't selling well in $560 or $400 bundles....its just insanity!

 

The sad part is that they actually are selling well in those bundles (my walmart sells out of them almost as fast as a Wii alone). Online Wii trackers indicate that my Walmart is a bit of anomoly in terms of speed of the sellout, but it seems that they do sell out still.

It's all smoke and mirrors. Nintendo is only making a few thousand a month worldwide. It explains poor third party sales.

Folks are probably just buying them as gag gifts, you know, like fake dog poop, woopie cushions and Billy Crystal movies.
