I was thinking that if MSFT, MTDOY, and SNE, possibly APPL, do not have DL only consoles by the 8th gen then will it be feasible, poosible by the 9th.  Also, any thoughts on what a 9th gen could bring? Could we see the fourth iteration of Xbox, PS5, Nintendo (fill in the blank), Apple iGame, or maybe an EA console?  Now that I think about it, that kind of overburdened market status would possible lead for a slight (gamers will always game), but a very possible 3rd crash. Anyone?

an EA console could have been really cool, with all these Sims and Need for speed and soooooo on, but most likely not.....

i think EA will be 8th and 9th gen. Maybe apple by 9th. Sony, Nintendo. And probably microsoft (depending on how the 8th gen goes)
