IMO to truly enjoy the game, only check out the job guides and 9999 HP guide. FF3 should be about exploration and running into a random monster that destroys your lvl 30 group in a matter of seconds. Just remember to save, one time I farmed my job lvl to 60 thief and 70 Dragoon only to get pwned by some Chimeras...and forgot to save.

Yes first question, no to second. Oh, and if you don't like too much dialogue I don't reccomend twewy. About 3/4 of that game so far , and I'm on day 4 out of 7 is dialogue. There is even a part where they talk about how the one girl wants to be a fashion designer. That is the only thing I hate about that game.

Edit: Btw since you are on a low budget, and by the time you get your ds it will be out already, get FFIV instead. That game is my second favorite FF and is way better than III.

just get FF4 DS...as FF4 is MUCH better as a game...
