I can't find the village of the ancients. Could somebody tell me where to find it or show me  map of the overworld to find it.   It's a great game btw.

IIRC, you don't go to the village when its afloat - It'll eventually come down on its own.

No it doesn't come down it just moves in a circle.

Nvm I think I found it. I don't know how I missed it. LOL I traveled across the whole continent and the place I didn't go to ended upi being where it was.

Ack sorry bad description I was just describing the desert since it had a floating thing in it, the village is just west of that desert but I guess you know now. Well at least you got to level up your characters from running the world map.

 Yeah I was at lvl 9 and 10 with job lvls around 15-20. When i was done I was lvls 20 and job lvls 40-50. The tower part was easy for me because of this. i killed medusa in 3 hits. 

Well in my opinion you should check FF3 guides on sites like ign gamefags.
