I think microsoft will sell more software of GTA 4, but sony more hardware (prediction).

it would ahve been nice to know how many GTA bundles were shipped

well xbox will sell more of the game because of a bigger install base.

but the most important sale is the hardware sale, i hope sony sell lots over the gta4 period

Argos indiviual shops can have up to 30 PS3s in at any one time (you can check their stock) So I'd guess Play.com, which is one of the biggest, if not becoming the biggest, online entertainment retailer would have a fair few more then 1 individual store, maybe a few hundred...

this is guess work though, I've no idea. And it's obvious X-box will sell more, there is a bigger user base. But if PS3 keeps up, then that is the achievement.

I think this will help the PS3 in EUROPE. But not generate as many software sales as the Xbox 360.

When you think about it, Sony is offering GTA IV with the PS3 in Europe so you you know without a shout of a doubt that this week the PS3 should be somewhere between 150k to 200k. and that boosts the software sales for GTA IV in Europe. Not that much but it does something.

I truly think the Xbox 360 will have the most hardware/software sales for the simple fact. The Xbox 360 is cheaper and the Xbox 360 already has a great installed base.

The only way for the PS3 version of GTA IV do well is if all PS2 owners that have yet converted to the PS3, will have a significant impact with Sony's numbers.
