AR: Ralph Fulton of Codemasters said that Race Driver could come to Wii if there was a dedicated external team available to take on the project. With your current Wii tools, would you be willing and have the resources to undertake such a project?

Firebrand Games: Yes we would and have the resources to do that (as long as it’s not released in 2008!) Our Wii engine will soon be demoed and its showing all the promise of our DS engine. We decided to delay finalising our Wii tech because (1) we were so busy, which is nice and (2) because when we release our first Wii title, we want it to have the same impact as Race Driver.

E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.

 

E3 2010- Tape runs out

Why are developers even trying the wii's gfx are nothin compared to the cellz and the xenonz powaz./sarcasm. It's nice that EVEN MORE developers are trying to get rid of this shovel ware on the wii.

 After reading the first half of your post I was about to jump all over you. Glad I kept reading.

Good news for the Wii. The 3rd party wave is swelling.

More good third party support is always is good but the wii needs a couple categories/geners to fill up still. Fighting genre, action genre and rts genre still need third party support.



I love fighting games !!! Come on challenge me !

Lets sum up:

Conduit- FPS

Adventure game- Bionic game studios

Racing- Race Driver

So yeah, wii needs good fighting game, rts(especially), and action genre but I have confidence about Nintendo what they will show at E3. I know these announcement is only the tip of the iceberg for me.

Hah...this is the new fad with no-name games developed for the Wii. Promote the engine that the game is made on and say that its "optimized".

It must be amazing game if its optimized right...
